Our program is deeply rooted in the hunt test world, and we actively participate in both HRC and AKC events throughout the year. We focus primarily on Seasoned, Finished, and Master level tests, as these levels best showcase a dog’s true trainability and working ability. When appropriate, we also enter Started, Junior, or Senior tests to give developing dogs valuable experience in a trial environment.
In 2025, our dogs earned 29 hunt test titles, a reflection of both their dedication and the consistency of our training program.
Golden Retrievers are at the heart of what we do. Over the years, our dogs have enjoyed exceptional success in the hunt test arena, and we are proud to be among the most active and successful Golden Retriever programs in the country—without losing sight of the humility, sportsmanship, and teamwork that make this sport so meaningful.
We believe hunt tests provide a clear, measurable standard for evaluating progress. They offer an objective look at a dog’s trainability, work ethic, and natural ability—qualities we consider essential when taking your furry friend out in the field for the real thing, not to mention, selecting potential candidates for future breeding programs.
